FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton Titans unbeaten start to in conference play continued on Wednesday night in a 3-0 win over Cal State Bakersfield at Titan Stadium.<\/p>\n
The Titans improved to 9-2-5 overall and 6-0-2 in conference play.\u00a0 The Titans remain tied for first place with Utah Valley with 20 points.\u00a0 The Wolverines defeated Sacramento State 6-1 on Wednesday to increase their goal differential in conference play over the Titans to +5.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Titans offense had the second most shots in program history with 37 shot attempts for the night.\u00a0\u00a0It was their most shots in a game since the 2004 season and the second most since the Titans had 41 shots against Wyoming on 9\/28\/01.<\/p>\n
The Titans outshot the Roadrunners 19-to-2 in the first half but headed into halftime scoreless.\u00a0 Camryn Cruz<\/a> had a goal called off for offsides after putting in a rebound on a saved shot from Cassie Villanueva<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Titans came out of the second half determined to find the breakthrough goal early.\u00a0 They scored in the 48th minute to take a 1-0 lead.\u00a0 Kaylin Raibon<\/a> played a ball to Cassie Villanueva<\/a> who passed it down the side to Sail Bozinovic<\/a>.\u00a0 Bozinovic was able to dribble up the line and send in a perfect cross to Jaidyn Williams<\/a> for the one time finish.
