(KRC) on Thursday reported a key measure of profitability in its third quarter. The results fell short of Wall Street expectations.<\/p>\n<p>The Los Angeles-based real estate investment trust said it had funds from operations of $104.6 million, or 88 cents per share, in the period.<\/p>\n<p>The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for funds from operations of 89 cents per share.<\/p>\n<p>Funds from operations is a closely watched measure in the REIT industry.
