Vote centers in Sacramento are open ahead of Election Day, with poll workers and voters expressing enthusiasm for early participation<\/p>\n

Vote centers across Sacramento County are open, drawing voters eager to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day on Tuesday. <\/p>\n

“At the vote center you can vote in person, get reissued a ballot — let’s say your dog ate your homework, you’re able to get a reissued ballot — you can drop off your mail-in ballot or even use that to vote in-person,” said Eben Burgoon, a Sacramento County election inspector. <\/p>\n

Burgoon and his team assisted voters to the vote center at the California Museum on O Street on Monday. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had really great energy already,\u201d Burgoon said. “A lot of our voters are expressing, I think, the excitement and the stakes of the election to us.” <\/p>\n

This is one of Sacramento’s vote centers open<\/a> and accessible to voters ahead of Nov. 3. <\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of our voters are expressing, I think, the excitement and stakes. They\u2019re saying they\u2019re glad we\u2019re here because they want to get their vote in early,\u201d Burgoon said.<\/p>\n

Vote centers open 10 days ahead of Election Day following the passage of the Voter’s Choice Act. <\/p>\n

Vote centers remain open across Sacramento County as Election Day approaches. Additional locations will open for four days of early voting starting on Saturday.<\/p>\n
