(KFSN) &#8212; Furry friends gathered for a fundraiser in Fresno County on Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The sixth annual Animal Compassion Team Golf Tournament was held at the Belmont Country Club.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">More than a hundred golfers teed up for a good cause.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Many of the participants have taken part every single year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The money raised helps the no-kill shelter care for dogs and cats looking for forever homes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;It&#8217;s great to see them, it&#8217;s really a friendship type thing we get to see everybody get together again and for the perfect cause,&#8221; ACT special events coordinator Doug Gray said. &#8220;It just brings me a lot of joy and I know we have about 30 volunteers out here today and I know it brings them joy equally as much.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The fundraising goal was $30,000 but organizers estimated that they got even more than that &#8212; thanks to extra donations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">You can help the animal compassion team anytime <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/animalcompassionteam.networkforgood.com\/projects\/155334-main-giving-page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">by donating on their website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 KFSN-TV.
