{"id":520100,"date":"2026-11-06T02:37:05","date_gmt":"2026-11-06T02:37:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/520100\/"},"modified":"2026-11-06T02:37:05","modified_gmt":"2026-11-06T02:37:05","slug":"dolores-huerta-to-lie-in-honor-at-california-state-capitol-during-public-viewing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/520100\/","title":{"rendered":"Dolores Huerta to lie in honor at California State Capitol during public viewing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Late civil rights and labor leader Dolores Huerta will lie in honor at the California State Capitol later this month, state legislative leaders announced Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the public can pay their respects from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Capitol building in Sacramento.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/dolores-huerta-dies-age-96-labor-activist-civil-rights-leader\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Huerta died Oct. 28<\/a> at her home in Bakersfield after battling cancer, according to a family spokesperson.
