{"id":54732,"date":"2025-11-15T18:05:17","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T18:05:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/54732\/"},"modified":"2025-11-15T18:05:17","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T18:05:17","slug":"abused-dog-thrown-over-anaheim-vets-fence-is-in-critical-condition-pasadena-star-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/54732\/","title":{"rendered":"Abused dog thrown over Anaheim vet\u2019s fence is in critical condition \u2013 Pasadena Star News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A small dog who authorities say had suffered significant abuse before it was thrown over a veterinary clinic\u2019s fence in Anaheim remained in critical condition on Friday, Nov. 14.<\/p>\n<p>Surveillance video from the University Veterinary Center on Glenoaks Avenue shows the dog inside a plastic bag getting tossed over a fence by a woman around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, Nov. 12, landing in the clinic\u2019s backyard.<\/p>\n<p>The injured canine was found by Dr. Ash Hakhamian, a veterinarian at the clinic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t find words to describe why anybody would do something like that, and it\u2019s hard to find the right words,\u201d Hakhamian told television news organizations. \u201cI mean, thrown is an understatement.
