California Governor Gavin Newsom has made a fresh personal dig at podcaster Joe Rogan.<\/p>\n

The new feud between the pair kicked off when Rogan claimed on his hit podcast<\/a> last week that Newsom had \u201cruined\u201d California and wants to be president \u201cso bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s terrible,\u201d Rogan said of Newsom. \u201cHe has low competition\u2026 he\u2019s a good bulls\u2011\u2011t artist.\u201d<\/p>\n

Newsom snapped back, first on X<\/a>, saying Rogan was \u201ctoo chicken\u201d to have him on his podcast \u201cand expose his listeners to the truth\u201d before listing stats about California\u2019s economic success.<\/p>\n

The governor doubled down on the Higher Learning<\/a> podcast last week. \u201cIt\u2019s a one-way and he has guests coming on, attacking and bashing, but he won\u2019t have me on the show. Full stop,\u201d Newsom said. <\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the Governor Newsom Press Office X account made a Trump-esque all-caps rant<\/a> about Rogan, whose listed height<\/a> of 5\u20328\u2033 on IMDb has been contested<\/a> online. Newsom\u2019s listed IMD height<\/a> is 6\u20323\u2033.<\/p>\n

\u201cJOE ROGAN IS A SNACK-SIZED PODCASTER WHO CAN\u2019T STOP TALKING ABOUT ME (OBSESSED! \u2018CRUSH?\u2019 NO THANK YOU!) BUT IS TOO SCARED TO HAVE ME ON AND LET HIS AUDIENCE HEAR THE TRUTH,\u201d Newsom\u2019s Press Office\u2019s all-caps post read<\/a>, signed with the governor\u2019s initials.<\/p>\n

The Daily Beast has contacted Rogan\u2019s representatives for comment.<\/p>\n

Rogan had claimed in his podcast, which has over 20 million subscribers on YouTube, that residents were fleeing California. The fan of conspiracy theories also called out Newsom for vaccine mandates for children.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t ruin a city and then go on to ruin a state and say, \u2018Guys, that was just practice. Once I get in as president, I\u2019m gonna fix it all,\u2019\u201d Rogan said. <\/p>\n

\u201cLike, everybody\u2019s leaving. You have the highest unemployment. You have the highest homelessness. Money\u2019s missing. You killed Hollywood. Like, Hollywood doesn\u2019t exist anymore. It\u2019s literally gone. You mandated vaccines for kids that didn\u2019t need them. He did horrible s–t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Newsom told the Higher Learning podcast he was prepared to push<\/a> back on Rogan\u2019s statements. \u201cI\u2019m not afraid to go… I\u2019m punching Joe Rogan, okay? That son of a b—h is not used to that. And he\u2019s gonna dismiss it and he\u2019s gonna laugh it off, tough guy and all that, but is he going to have me on? I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

The governor also addressed Rogan\u2019s criticism of California. \u201cWe\u2019re imperfect. We got homelessness. We got problems. Give me a break. So does every goddamn state. You never talk about those states. It pisses me off, cause I love this place. I love what it represents. You hit us, you hit my state, I\u2019m coming back.\u201d<\/p>\n

In July, Newsom admitted<\/a> he was actually a fan of Rogan, even if the feeling was not mutual. \u201cBy the way, I\u2019m a Joe Rogan fan. He ain\u2019t a fan of mine, but I\u2019m a Joe Rogan fan. No bulls–t,\u201d he told the Shawn Ryan Show. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I\u2019ve lived it for decades\u2026 I feel like it\u2019s a decade back in the day before Joe was Joe Rogan. He was just a podcaster, man.
