Mother Nature is being generous with wet weather as two more storms are forecast to take aim for the Southland in the coming week.<\/p>\n
A system that arrived Friday drenched Southern California on Saturday, with showers expected to linger into early Sunday. Residents in the region shouldn\u2019t put their jackets and umbrellas away after the weekend, though, since the brief break of rain will be interrupted by a second system that\u2019s slated to douse the Southland in the beginning of the work week.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis system that\u2019s been bringing all of this chaos is going to move on out, and I\u2019d like to keep it away as long as we can, but we’ve got another low-pressure system,\u201d NBC4 Meteorologist Kelley Moody said. \u201cThis is No. 2 that is set to come on in and make a little bit of a mess for the Monday morning commute.<\/p>\n

The second storm is expected to creep into Ventura County around 6 a.m. Monday, then travel southeast and reach Los Angeles and Orange Counties around 10 a.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cTiming could change with this but as of now, it looks to arrive during that morning commute,\u201d Moody warned.<\/p>\n
Drivers are urged to take extra caution behind the wheel during inclement weather. Slower speeds during travel are recommended during weather events.<\/p>\n
Monday\u2019s storm is forecast to taper off with lingering showers on Tuesday, but a third system is expected to follow soon after.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter that, that heads out, No. 3,\u201d Moody said. \u201cThis one is set to arrive as we look toward the later half of this upcoming week.\u201d<\/p>\n
It\u2019s unclear when exactly the third storm may arrive or how powerful it could be.<\/p>\n
