Running backs Travis Etienne Jr.<\/a> and Bhayshul Tuten<\/a> rushed physically and effectively, and the Jaguars’ defense played the same way \u2013 and the result was a physical, convincing, 35-6 victory over the playoff-contending Los Angeles Chargers in front of 58,461 at EverBank Stadium Sunday.<\/p>\n Tuten and Etienne rushed for first-half touchdowns and the Jaguars defense dominated throughout \u2013 holding the Chargers without a touchdown, sacking Chargers quarterbacks three times and intercepting them once.<\/p>\n Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence ran for a third-quarter touchdown and threw to wide receiver Tim Patrick for a fourth-quarter touchdown as the Jaguars pulled away with a methodical second half.<\/p>\n The Jaguars outgained the Chargers 345-135 with 30 first downs to eight for the Chargers. The Jaguars finished the game with a 37:55-22:05 time-of-possession advantage.<\/p>\n Tuten rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, with Etienne rushing for 73 yards on 18 carries with two touchdowns. The Jaguars as a team rushed for 192 yards.<\/p>\n The Jaguars (6-4) won for a second time in three games and snapped a three-game winning streak for the Chargers (7-4).<\/p>\n Lawrence completed 14 of 22 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown with one interception.
