(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 CAPK is asking the community to help support those in need this holiday season.<\/p>\n<p>The Warm for Winter Coat Drive will help provide coats for those seeking shelter during the winter months.<\/p>\n<p>CAPK is accepting donations of new coats from size medium to 4XL.<\/p>\n<p>Donations will be accepted through January and can be dropped off at the M Street Shelter, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>CAPK is also asking the community to help provide meals for the homeless this holiday season.<\/p>\n<p>An $8 dollar donation will sponsor a hot thanksgiving meal.<\/p>\n<p>Donations can be made at <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/capkfoundation.org.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">capkfoundation.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
