Knott\u2019s Merry Farm returns this holiday season with a new Victorian-inspired Christmas tree serving as the centerpiece of a winter wonderland filled with festive shows, live music and a nightly forecast of soapy snowflakes.<\/p>\n

Knott\u2019s Merry Farm kicks off on Friday, Nov. 21 and runs through Jan. 4 at the Buena Park theme park with a host of holiday shows, entertainment, food, merchandise and decor.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Tis the Season tree lighting ceremony in Calico Park will add a new 50-foot-tall Victorian-inspired Christmas tree with 7,000 lights, custom-made candles and vintage wood ornaments.<\/p>\n

A host of holiday shows and entertainment return for this year\u2019s Knott\u2019s Merry Farm.<\/p>\n

\u201cA Calico Christmas Carol\u201d alternates show times in the Bird Cage Theatre with the returning \u201cGift of the Magi, 1885.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reinterpretation of the Dickens classic \u201cA Christmas Carol\u201d debuted last year in melodrama theater with a Wild West twist that turned the bah-humbug cautionary tale into yee-haw dramedy.<\/p>\n

Long-time favorite \u201cSnoopy\u2019s Night Before Christmas\u201d brings the ice skating spectacular back to the Walter Knott Theater for a retelling of the holiday poem \u201cA Visit From St. Nicholas\u201d re-imagined Peanuts style.<\/p>\n

The \u201cHome for the Holidays\u201d stage show that debuted in 2019 returns to the Calico Mine Stage. The theatrical musical feels like watching an \u201cAndy Williams Christmas Special,\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s a Wonderful Life\u201d and the Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade all rolled up into one holiday spectacular.<\/p>\n

The popular \u201cSnow & Glow\u201d light show with \u201csnoap\u201d falling on Calico Ghost Town that takes place several times a night serves as a nightcap kiss goodnight.<\/p>\n

Texas-born trumpeter and singer Adelaide Pilar will take over the Fiesta Plaza Stage during the holidays with a mix of New York salsa, Latin Caribbean beats and Top 40 hits.<\/p>\n

Seasonal entertainment includes Krazy Kirk & the Hillbillies with a holiday twist in the Wagon Camp and Knott\u2019s Calico Carolers on the Ghost Town streets.<\/p>\n

Throughout the event, shoppers can browse the Christmas Crafts Village and snap holiday photos at Santa\u2019s Christmas Cabin.<\/p>\n

Holiday eats and treats will be available at more than two dozen locations throughout the park.
