(KFSN) &#8212; The victim in the shooting in West Central Fresno near McKinley and Marks avenues has been identified as 18-year-old Karim Williams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">On Saturday, Fresno Police responded to a call about a possible hit-and-run and a person lying in a parking lot of an apartment complex off West McKinley Ave.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">When officers arrived, they found Williams on the ground with a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">They gave medical aid to Williams but he was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Detectives believe Williams was in a fight with several other men in the parking lot. At some point, the men left and left him on the ground, wounded.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The motive is currently unknown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 KFSN-TV.
