The event stretched across the downtown area, closing 7.15 miles to motorized vehicle traffic.<\/p>\n<p>CicLAvia is a nonprofit car-free streets initiative in Los Angeles. The \u201cHeart of LA\u201d festival marked CicLAvia\u2019s 15th birthday and its 63rd open streets event since its first event in 2010, according to a statement from the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Only people-powered vehicles were permitted at the event, which includes bikes, skateboards and more.
