ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 A pair of men from California was taken into custody this week after they were found with 46 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n
In an arrest affidavit, troopers said that the pair was originally spotted in an SUV at the intersection of Conroy Road and Vineland Road on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n
At the time, the SUV was caught improperly turning left and driving across several lanes, which impeded traffic and spurred a traffic stop, troopers wrote.<\/p>\n
However, the driver \u2014 identified as Shuoliang Zhen, 40 \u2014 said he didn\u2019t have any identification on him, explaining he was renting the vehicle, according to investigators.<\/p>\n

Share your photos<\/a>]<\/p>\n \u201cHe appeared to be visibly shaking and slightly stuttering his words,\u201d the affidavit reads. \u201cThe front passenger appeared to be staring straight and attempting to avoid eye contact with law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n A K-9 later alerted troopers after a sniff of the SUV, sparking a search.<\/p>\n Troopers said they discovered three large boxes, each filled with vacuum-sealed bags that contained roughly a pound of marijuana each. In all, roughly 46 pounds were found.<\/p>\n As a result, Zhen was arrested and now faces charges of cannabis possession and trafficking.
