PONTIAC, Mich. \u2013 A 41-year-old man from Waterford Township is being held without bond in the deadly shooting of a Pontiac man<\/a> on Saturday, Nov. 15.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, deputies were called to a home on Wall Street, between Jessie and Paddock streets, at about 6 a.m. on reports of a shooting. A resident said they found a bullet hole in the back door of their home, but no one was injured.<\/p>\n

While deputies were responding, multiple 911 calls came in reporting a shooting. One caller said they witnessed a man being shot on Osmun Street, just south of the initial location.<\/p>\n

Deputies found 36-year-old Deevon Cornea Brown, who had been shot, and rushed him to a hospital where he later died.<\/p>\n

The suspected gunman, Anthony Louis Ward, was taken into custody that day<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Nov. 19, Ward was charged with second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and two counts of using a firearm while in the commission of a felony. <\/p>\n

He was denied bond and remanded to the Oakland County Jail.<\/p>\n

Ward\u2019s probable cause conference is scheduled for Dec. 2. If convicted, he faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison.<\/p>\n
