(KFSN) &#8212; One of the Valley&#8217;s top stars came home Wednesday night for a special celebration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Jalen Green is the all-time points leader at San Joaquin Memorial High School.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Green helped SJM win two Central Section championships.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">He went on to be the second overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft and now plays for the Phoenix Suns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">He returned to SJM to see his number four jersey retired.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Congressman Jim Costa&#8217;s office also presented a proclamation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">A number of Green&#8217;s new Suns teammates, including the team&#8217;s general manager, head coach and CEO made the trip out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">&#8220;It&#8217;s always good coming back,&#8221; he said. &#8220;This is where I grew up and spent a lot of my years. This is where I got the hustle, motivation and drive, the hunger all built up to where I&#8217;m at today, so I got to show love back.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">Green has been all love to the Valley, donating basketball courts, shoes and time to teams and organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 KFSN-TV.
