{"id":64148,"date":"2025-11-21T19:58:24","date_gmt":"2025-11-21T19:58:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/64148\/"},"modified":"2025-11-21T19:58:24","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T19:58:24","slug":"driver-dies-after-crashing-into-tree-on-moorpark-avenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/64148\/","title":{"rendered":"Driver dies after crashing into tree on Moorpark Avenue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN JOSE \u2014 A driver died after crashing into a tree on Moorpark Avenue early Friday, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The deadly collision was reported at 1:39 a.m., and an initial San Jose police investigation determined that a man driving a black 2016 Subaru sedan was eastbound on Moorpark past Monroe Street when he veered right and hit a tree on the south side of the roadway.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, described only as a man, died at the scene, police said. His name was not publicly released pending his formal identification and notification of his next of kin by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Additional details were not immediately released Friday.
