{"id":64566,"date":"2025-11-22T01:21:06","date_gmt":"2025-11-22T01:21:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/64566\/"},"modified":"2025-11-22T01:21:06","modified_gmt":"2025-11-22T01:21:06","slug":"police-search-for-suspects-in-attempted-atm-burglary-in-sw-bakersfield","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/64566\/","title":{"rendered":"Police search for suspects in attempted ATM burglary in SW Bakersfield"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public&#8217;s help in identifying suspects connected to an attempted burglary of an ATM in southwest Bakersfield.<\/p>\n<p>BPD said on August 29, 2025, the suspects tried to break into an external ATM at the Valley Strong Credit Union located at 3300 Buena Vista Road. <\/p>\n<p>The first suspect is described as a man between 6&#8242; and 6&#8217;5&#8243; tall, with a heavy build, last seen wearing black sunglasses, a black facemask, a black beanie, white gloves, and gray coveralls.<\/p>\n<p>The second suspect is described as a man, between 5&#8217;5&#8243; and 5&#8217;7&#8243; tall, last seen wearing a white facemask, black gloves, a black beanie, and dark blue coveralls with a white stripe on both arms and legs, and white lettering on the back.<\/p>\n<p>The suspected vehicle is a mid-2000s white Ford Expedition with white door handles and trim, no license plates, a black roof rack, and taillights and wheels covered with black tape.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Photo: Bakersfield Police Dept.{p}{\/p}\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/7ea02986-80ab-4509-81c3-f39aabeb9b60-BS4.jpg\"\/>Photo: Bakersfield Police Dept.Comment with Bubbles<\/p>\n<p>BE THE FIRST TO COMMENT<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to contact detective K.
