SAN DIEGO (FOX 5\/KUSI) \u2014 The rain isn\u2019t done passing through Southern California just yet, but Tuesday\u2019s storm brought some much needed moisture to San Diego County.<\/p>\n
The National Weather Service<\/a> released Tuesday\u2019s rainfall totals as of 11:00 p.m.<\/p>\n More weather: \u27a1\ufe0f\u00a0Forecast<\/a> | \u26a0\ufe0f\u00a0Alerts<\/a> | \ud83d\uddfa\ufe0f\u00a0Live Radar<\/a> | \ud83d\udce7Newsletter<\/a><\/p>\n The county\u2019s mountains saw the most precipitation on Tuesday with more than an inch of rain reported in Descanso, Julian, Pine Hills, Palomar, Birch Hill and Lake Cuyamaca. The Palomar Observatory station recorded 1.86\u2033 of rain followed by Lake Cuyamaca with 1.77\u2033 and Palomar Mountain with 1.75\u2033.<\/p>\n The areas along San Diego County\u2019s coastal communities that received the most rain on Tuesday were San Onofre with 0.6 of an inch, followed by Oceanside (0.48\u2033), Kearny Mesa (0.47\u2033), Vista (0.46\u2033) and Miramar (0.46\u2033), all with about half an inch.<\/p>\n Storm system causes thunderstorms, high waves in San Diego <\/a><\/p>\n Meanwhile, some parts of San Diego County\u2019s valleys got more than inch of rain.
