Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky has said both players are progressing well. Misa has even caught up to Skinner’s recovery timeline.

Skinner was considered to be on a roughly two-week absence, with Misa “a little further behind.” Warsofsky told reporters on Thursday that Misa is maybe “24 hours” behind Skinner.

The San Jose Sharks are also hoping to get both players back at practice on Tuesday. We hope to have them in practice on Tuesday,” Warsofsky said. “We’re rolling 12 forwards. It’s been a challenge to get through it, but it is what it is.

We miss Skinner on the power play and creating some offense. Misa is continuing to develop as a young center. It was another option. There’s still a lot of hockey before then, so we’re gonna get through that.”

Warsofksy was asked whether there is a plan to send Misa to the San Jose Barracuda for a conditioning assignment.
