The latter\u2019s menu reflects not just the family\u2019s history in Hong Kong, but all the excellent produce in Northern California. That means decadent duck, well-sourced rice, and espresso soft serve from grass-fed cows at maybe the neighborhood\u2019s most dynamic opening in years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">The interior is all black, little pipes exposed, and big birds hanging in the back while flames leap from the range. Service is attentive without being overbearing, and certainly not stuffy. Walking in works here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Parking in Bernal Heights can be a pain. The 67 Muni bus goes right over the Cortland Avenue hump.
