(KFSN) &#8212; A 29-year-old man has died after being crushed while working on an oil rig in Fresno County, sheriffs say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Deputies were called around 10:45 a.m. on Monday about an injured man in a field near Mt. Whitney and Polk Avenues near Riverdale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">When they arrived, they found a man who had died after being crushed by a large piece of steel that had swung down from the rig.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Investigators say that the victim was working with a company to remove an oil rig from the property.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The incident is still under investigation by Cal\/OSHA.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025 KFSN-TV.
