A gorilla couple at the Los Angeles Zoo<\/a> may be busier than ever after their second baby was born last month.<\/p>\n

The latest gorilla baby, whose gender and name have yet to be announced, was born between mother, N\u2019djia (31) and Kelly (38) on Saturday Nov. 22, zoo officials announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cN\u2019djia and her infant have been safely bonding behind the scenes and are now on exhibit at Campo Gorilla Reserve, joining the rest of their family troop,\u201d the zoo said in a statement.<\/p>\n

The gorilla couple had their first offspring, Angela<\/a>, five years ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The zoo officials said 2025 has been an \u201cexciting year\u201d as they welcomed five apes within a four-month period.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In August, a 35-year-old chimpanzee gave birth to her third baby. Two weeks later, another chimpanzee, 18, became a mother with the birth of her first infant.<\/p>\n

Then in October, a new Bornean orangutan was born for the first time in nearly 15 at the LA Zoo. The baby boy is bonding well with his mother at Red Ape Rain Forest, according to the zoo.<\/p>\n

Also in November, a chimpanzee infant came into the world, becoming an experienced chimpanzee mother\u2019s third child.<\/p>\n
