recall report<\/a> from the Food and Drug Administration, multiple Pecorino Romano products manufactured by the Ambriola Company and sold by five different brands were recalled because they may be contaminated by listeria monocytogenes, which could induce listeria in a customer.<\/p>\n“Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women,” the FDA wrote.<\/p>\n
The affected brands were: Ambriola, Locatelli, Member’s Mark, Pinna, and Boar’s Head.<\/p>\n
