From the start, Brisa was imagined as a little escape. We were inspired by the relaxed, transportive feeling of destinations like Tulum or Cabo, with a Latin–Sushi fusion menu that reflects the bold, fresh flavors San Diego loves.

“The goal wasn’t just to open another restaurant, but to create a space that feels alive, welcoming, and worth going out of your way for.”

“This year we really wanted to focus on supporting families in need,” Reinhart said.

“We’ve partnered with a local women’s shelter to host a toy drive throughout the season, where guests can drop off new, unwrapped toys directly at the restaurant. You get to know people on a personal level, and it becomes less about just serving food and more about building real connections with the community.

“The neighborhood is strong and resilient; it evolves with the times but always keeps its sense of identity. For us at Brisa, that’s been the most rewarding part, watching guests become regulars, knowing their stories, and creating a place where people feel comfortable coming back again and again.

“Being part of a neighborhood where people come to celebrate, explore, and connect makes running a business here truly special.”

READ NEXT

Overview: Brisa Restaurant & Bar celebrates the holidays “This year we really wanted to focus on supporting families…

[28
45844,9479,2646,5329,26180,74,76,75,30075
0":"post-79974","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-san-diego","8":"tag-brisa-restaurant-bar","9":"tag-christmas","10":"tag-holidays","11":"tag-little-italy","12":"tag-pop-up","13":"tag-san-diego","14":"tag-san-diego-headlines","15":"tag-san-diego-news","16":"tag-toy-drive
["GET
