(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Kern County Coroner\u2019s Office has identified a<a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/1-dead-in-elmo-highway-crash-in-mcfarland-police-kendra-street-north-kern-county-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> driver who died after a crash in McFarland<\/a> on Thanksgiving as 60-year-old Jose Drusso Ferron.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/1-dead-in-elmo-highway-crash-in-mcfarland-police-kendra-street-north-kern-county-california\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Driver dies in two-vehicle crash on Elmo Highway in McFarland: Police<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The McFarland Police Department said on November 27, 2025, at around 12:58 p.m., officers were called to a crash at Elmo Highway and Kendrea Street.<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived, they learned one of the drivers, later identified as Ferron, had significant injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Medical aid responded and attempted resuscitation efforts, but Ferron died.<\/p>\n<p>McFarland police said as of November 27, no arrests have been made at this time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
