But the couple is also taking a new direction, opening Berkeley\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/sf.eater.com\/venue\/922376\/cafe-brusco\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cafe Brusco<\/a> in September 2025, a restaurant centered around bagels, pastries, and coffee (plus a wine program). It\u2019s become a fast favorite for locals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Cafe Brusco has an extensive coffee menu with both standards and not-so-standard drinks. Specials may include items like a fennel-orange latte or a shakerato. There are also wines by the glass, bottles to-go, or open a bottle at the shop (with a $10 corkage fee).<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Cafe Brusco is one of the few shops to regularly offer pastries from the popular East Bay pop-up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodluckbakery.online\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Good Luck Bakery<\/a>.
