The area includes the towns of Greenville and Quincy. <\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">The warning means that individuals in sensitive groups &#8211; such as those with respiratory illnesses &#8211; may experience &#8220;more serious health effects,&#8221; AirNow said. <\/p>\n<p><img id=\"11160566\" alt=\"\" caption=\"Hollywood and Los Angeles downtown at dawn\" captionoverride=\"Los Angeles covered by a haze. It ranges from 0 to 500 and uses color-coded categories to reflect the intensity of air quality concerns. It rates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/topic\/air-pollution\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">air pollution<\/a> as follows:<\/p>\n<p>0\u201450 (Green):\u00a0Good\u2014air quality is satisfactory, and air pollution poses little or no risk.51\u2014100 (Yellow):\u00a0Moderate\u2014air quality is acceptable. However, there may be a risk for some people, particularly those who are unusually sensitive to air pollution.101\u2014150 (Orange):\u00a0Unhealthy for sensitive groups\u2014members of sensitive groups may experience health effects. The general public is less likely to be affected.151\u2014200 (Red):\u00a0Unhealthy\u2014some members of the general public may experience health effects; members of sensitive groups may experience more serious health effects.201\u2014300 (Purple):\u00a0Very Unhealthy\u2014health alert. The risk of health effects is increased for everyone.301 and higher (Maroon):\u00a0Hazardous\u2014health warning of emergency conditions. Everyone is more likely to be affected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">When air quality falls in the &#8220;unhealthy&#8221; range, the EPA advises vulnerable people to avoid prolonged or strenuous outdoor activities and consider relocating or rescheduling them indoors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">For the general public, the EPA advises reducing the duration or intensity of outdoor exertion and taking frequent breaks to minimize exposure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">This is a developing story.
