A predawn rollover crash<\/a> in San Francisco’s Mission District on Thursday sent two people to the hospital, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The San Francisco Fire Department said it received a report of a vehicle collision at 4:59 a.m. in the 200 block of South Van Ness Avenue.<\/p>\n

When firefighters arrived, they found one car overturned and another damaged. All three people involved had already made it out of the vehicles.<\/p>\n

“The three individuals were evaluated by San Francisco fire paramedics,” the department said in a statement. “Two of them were transported to local hospitals for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries.”<\/p>\n

The third person declined transport.<\/p>\n

The San Francisco Police Department’s traffic division is now examining what led to the crash, which occurred along one of the city’s major north\u2013south corridors.<\/p>\n

Authorities did not immediately release details about the cause of the rollover or whether any citations were issued.<\/p>\n

Despite the dramatic scene shared on social media<\/a>, officials emphasized that the wreck was cleared quickly.<\/p>\n

“Fortunately, the situation was resolved with minor injuries and will not impact the morning commute,” the fire department said.<\/p>\n
