As a result, much like with the Jordan 9 before it, Tinker Hatfield and the design team were tasked with creating a basketball shoe that celebrated its namesake without relying on new on-court achievements to market it.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan would eventually return to basketball and wear his tenth signature model, spurred in part by Scottie Pippen famously pointing to the Jumpman on the sole of the Air <a href=\"https:\/\/sneakernews.com\/tag\/air-jordan-10\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan 10<\/a> as a not-so-subtle message encouraging him to come back. The outsole\u2019s list of MJ\u2019s career accomplishments was one way Nike attempted to encapsulate his greatness through design. Another came through the storytelling baked into the colorways.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/air-jordan-10-city-pack-original-1995-2.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"Air Jordan 10 City Pack Original 1995 2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/air-jordan-10-city-pack-original-1995-1.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"Air Jordan 10 City Pack Original 1995 1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 1995, Nike released a Jordan 10 \u201cCity Pack\u201d featuring styles inspired by some of MJ\u2019s fiercest rivals: the New York Knicks, Seattle SuperSonics, Orlando Magic, and Sacramento Kings, along with a Bulls-themed pair that Jordan would eventually lace up after proclaiming \u201cI\u2019m back.\u201d The Sacramento pair stood out as the only version featuring a black leather upper instead of white, paired with regal purple accents on the lining and outsole. White and purple PE versions also exist, including one worn during the 1995\u201396 season by former Rookie of the Year <a href=\"https:\/\/sneakernews.com\/2010\/12\/13\/air-jordan-x-10-mitch-richmond-sacramento-kings-pe\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mitch Richmond<\/a>, complete with his jersey number stitched on.<\/p>\n<p>Three decades later, we\u2019re learning that the Jordan 10 \u201cSacramento\u201d is poised to return Holiday 2026 (per zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files). This marks the first-ever retro of the colorway, making it one of the longest initial-release-to-retro gaps you\u2019ll see. Jordan Brand did release another Jordan 10 \u201cCity Pack\u201d in 2016, although those styles had little in common with the original 1995 run. No images of the upcoming retro have surfaced yet, but early indications point toward a true OG-style build in both shape and color.<\/p>\n<p>The Air Jordan 10 \u201cSacramento\u201d is scheduled for Holiday 2026, meaning sometime between next October and December.
