Human People Old Tricks\u00a0| West Coast IPA\u00a0(6.7%): In addition to a smattering of lagers, our friends at Human People in Seattle just sent down cans of a new West Coast IPA recipe! Old Tricks is generously hopped with Krush, Mosaic and Simcoe. The latter two have a lineage, as Mosaic is a daughter of Simcoe, making this a family reunion of sorts? This beer exemplifies a wonderful cross-section of the bounty of the Yakima Valley in the here and now.<\/p>\n

Wayfinder Golden Tiger\u00a0| Polotmav\u00fd\u00a0(5.3%): Devotees of Czech-style lagers are well familiar with the term \u201cTmav\u00fd\u201d, meaning simply \u201cdark\u201d. Our colleague Devin at Bottlecraft Little Italy even has a dog named Tmav\u00fd, to take one such local example! A Tmav\u00fd Pivo in Bohemia and Moravia is a malt-driven lager with deep russet coloration and the ability to be both hearty and refreshing at once. The even more obscure style Polotmav\u00fd is usually rendered as a \u201cCzech amber lager\u201d, but literally means \u201chalf-dark\u201d. This three-way collab between Oregonians Wayfinder Beer and Heater Allen, and the incomparable Colorado-based Bierstadt Lagerhaus is a tribute to U Zlat\u00e9ho Tygra (= \u201cAt the Golden Tiger\u201d), one of the finest places in Old Town Prague for fresh draft lager. Na strav\u00ed!<\/p>\n

Cellarmaker Wreather Madness\u00a0| Holiday Spiced Ale\u00a0(7.5%): The Gingerbread Man sits snugly in his easy chair at home, the fireplace alit to warm his right foot while a curled-up cat snoozes at his left. He exhales smoke rings towards the decorated Christmas tree and everything twinkles merrily. Who could ask for anything more? This one is for those who crave winter spicing in their beer, replete with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and vanilla. Happy holidays!<\/p>\n
