{"id":93362,"date":"2025-12-13T14:32:18","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T14:32:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/93362\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T14:32:18","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T14:32:18","slug":"streak-of-below-50-temperatures-comes-to-an-end","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/93362\/","title":{"rendered":"Streak of below 50\u00b0 temperatures comes to an end"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After 7 days of gloomy, cold weather, the skies in Bakersfield finally cleared on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>That allowed the temperature to hit 50\u00b0 for the first time since December 4th.<\/p>\n<p>Although we had a good amount of clearing in Kern County, most of the Central Valley wasn&#8217;t as lucky, with clouds remaining in place.<\/p>\n<p>The area of high pressure that has been keeping out skies gloomy is starting to move away, so additional clearing will be possible into the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Even if skies clear in the afternoon again, temperatures are likely to stay below average this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of the Valley, temperatures will be comfortable once again, with highs mainly in the 70s.<\/p>\n<p>Stay in Touch with Us Anytime, Anywhere:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"After 7 days of gloomy, cold weather, the skies in Bakersfield finally cleared on Friday.
