{"id":93592,"date":"2025-12-13T19:53:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T19:53:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/93592\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T19:53:17","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T19:53:17","slug":"san-rafael-bicyclist-killed-in-petaluma-hit-and-run-identified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/93592\/","title":{"rendered":"San Rafael bicyclist killed in Petaluma hit-and-run identified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The bicyclist killed in an unsolved<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pressdemocrat.com\/2025\/11\/22\/chp-bicyclist-killed-following-hit-and-run-in-petaluma\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> hit-and-run in Petaluma<\/a> was identified as George Ramos, a 67-year-old resident of San Rafael, according to the Sonoma County Coroner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>The driver and vehicle involved in the Nov. 22 hit-and run is still unknown as of Friday, said Officer David deRutte, a spokesperson for California Highway Patrol\u2019s Santa Rosa office.<\/p>\n<p>A preliminary investigation indicated the crash likely happened overnight or early that Saturday morning, according to officials.
