{"id":94560,"date":"2025-12-14T21:07:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-14T21:07:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/94560\/"},"modified":"2025-12-14T21:07:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-14T21:07:11","slug":"teenager-fatally-struck-in-mira-mesa-by-suv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/94560\/","title":{"rendered":"Teenager fatally struck in Mira Mesa by SUV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A teenage pedestrian died after he was struck by a SUV under foggy conditions in Mira Mesa late Saturday, San Diego police said.<\/p>\n<p>The collision happened just after 11 p.m. at the intersection of Camino Ruiz and Hydra Lane, a residential area roughly a half-mile north of Mira Mesa Boulevard, the department said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the teenager was in the intersection when he was struck by a 2020 Chevy Traverse driven by a 40-year-old man.
