BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community\u2019s help in identifying a man accused of breaking into a vehicle and stealing a purse.<\/p>\n

Police said it happened on August 23, 2025, in the 6600 block of Ming Avenue.<\/p>\n

The man allegedly stole a large tan purse that contained information for the victim, credit cards, and a black Apple iPhone 16E.<\/p>\n

The suspect is described as a man in his 30\u2019s, about 5\u20197\u201d to 5\u201d9\u201d tall, and with a medium build.<\/p>\n

He has short, black hair and a beard, and was wearing light grey shorts and black shoes.<\/p>\n

Police said the suspect\u2019s vehicle is a white Nissan 4-door sedan.<\/p>\n
