One of the newest is Mission Valley.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for a healthy, casual lunch or dinner before or after a game or show at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snapdragonstadium.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Snapdragon Stadium<\/a>, the new <a href=\"https:\/\/urbanplates.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Urban Plates<\/a> in Mission Valley is just 57 steps \u2014 more or less \u2014 from the trolley.<\/p>\n<p>Hop on or hop off and get a delicious meal made fresh in-house from scratch every day.<\/p>\n<p>Now 15 years old, Urban Plates was founded in Del Mar and has grown to 19 locations.  One of the newest is Mission Valley. <\/p>\n<p>Their mission statement is: \u201cWe make craveable, wholesome, and clean food accessible to all.\u201d The focus is on organic, non-GMO, antibiotic and hormone-free, grass-fed steak, wild line-caught ahi tuna, sustainably raised salmon, and cage-free, hormone-free chicken.<\/p>\n<p>Here you will find a substantial assortment of gluten-free, plant-based, and low-carb dishes.<\/p>\n<p>The menu is extensive, featuring salads, sandwiches, bowls, plates, and desserts. It is posted outside the restaurant with photos so you can make your choice before entering. Order at the counter, and the food is delivered to your table.<\/p>\n<p>Chimichurri grass-fed steak, Surf and Turf (shrimp and steak), blackened sustainable salmon, and grilled organic tofu with chili glaze are some examples of the main dishes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/timesofsandiego.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Urban-Plates-Pic-1-scaled.jpg?ssl=1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"780\" height=\"585\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Urban-Plates-Pic-1.jpg\" alt=\"Urban Plates\" class=\"wp-image-359530\"  \/><\/a>One of the many options available is Moroccan Chicken Braise with potatoes.
