They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-24 win over the Eagles. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they’re now sitting on ten straight.<\/p>\n Jaden Galvan<\/a> produced another solid performance throwing for 250 yards and a pair of TDs on only 19 passes. 87 of Galvan’s passing yards were hauled in by Kenneth Moore iii<\/a>, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.<\/p>\n Wins are hard to come by when you can’t run the rock, something St. Mary’s proved: they limited Bakersfield Christian to a paltry 2.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Mason Eagal<\/a> for the heroic effort on defense: he. St. Mary’s didn’t have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.1.<\/p>\n St. Mary’s didn’t go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mil Neudeck<\/a> and Eagal. Eagal also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11.<\/p>\n Bakersfield Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Buddah Wallace<\/a>, who picked up 140 receiving yards and two scores. Michael Smith<\/a> also helped out as he racked up 212 receiving yards.<\/p>\n St. Mary’s win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Bakersfield Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.<\/p>\n As of now, neither St. Mary’s nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.<\/p>\n
