Amar Gandhi said, speaking on behalf of Rancho Cordova police. The woman fell and struck her head on the pavement. She was initially taken inside the VA\u2019s emergency room but was transferred to UC Davis Medical Center because of the seriousness of her injuries, Gandhi said.
