Police say the suspect fled from the scene after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.
PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — An investigation is currently underway after a bank robbery along US 19, according to the Pinellas Park Police Department.
Police say that at around 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, police responded to a Wells Fargo Bank located at 7100 US Highway 19 N for a just-occurred bank robbery.Â
The man, described by police as “an older white male wearing a neon green long-sleeve shirt and glasses,” had passed a note to a bank teller, implying that he was armed and was demanding money. Police say that after receiving the funds, he fled the scene.
Currently, police say that they are unable to identify the suspect.
