TAMPA, Fla. — The Iowa Hawkeyes are gearing up for their final game of the season, facing Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl as part of the New Year’s festivities.

Fans have gathered in Ybor City, creating a lively atmosphere as they prepare for the upcoming match.

Earlier today, the Hawkeye Huddle at the Tampa Convention Center showcased the excitement among supporters. The crowd is eager to see if Iowa can triumph over Diego Pavia and the 14th-ranked Vanderbilt team when the game begins at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. It’s no surprise that most fans believe that’s exactly what will happen.

As the party continues into the evening in Ybor City, Hawkeye fans are hoping for two more parties on Wednesday–the first being a Hawkeye victory party, and the second being when they ring in the New Year.

Keep an eye out for more updates from KWWL’s Mark Woodley in Tampa as the game approaches.
