December 30, 2025 – Little Philly, known for its Philadelphia-style cheesesteak sandwiches, has closed its counter-service restaurant at 2063 Central Ave. According to a social media post, a lease dispute with the property owner led to the business being evicted from its shop in St. Petersburg’s Grand Central District. The owners, who moved into the building in 2024, plan to launch a food truck while exploring other brick-and-mortar options.
