For the second consecutive year, the Community Christmas Caroleers returned to the Miami-Dade County Edison Little River Adult Day Care Center, located at 150 NW 79th Street in Miami, to spread holiday cheer through music, fellowship, and purpose.

Adult Day Care centers play a critical role in supporting functionally impaired seniors and young adults with disabilities by offering daily care, social engagement, and stability for participants and their families. Just recently on the verge of closure, the Edison Little River Adult Day Care Center was saved through advocacy efforts during Miami-Dade County’s budget town hall meetings and continued community engagement.

Many holiday favorites made this year’s song lineup, including “Feliz Navidad,” “Silent Night,” “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” “The First Noel,” and “Now Behold the Lamb.” The Community Christmas Caroleers are comprised of dedicated community members Daniella Pierre, Dr. Takevess Hatcher, Roger Williams, Dandria Gray, Michael Murray, and Candice Wilson.
