Ending 2025 on a dry, cool note ☀️

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – High pressure will stay in control to end 2025, but we are looking ahead to our next rain chance.

Wednesday Forecast

After below-freezing temperatures to kick off your Wednesday, we are tracking a nice rebound for the afternoon. We are dry under a sunny sky. Highs top out in the mid-50s.

We still have a little bit of a breeze, but the wind is not as gusty as Monday or Tuesday.

Dry, clear weather will continue for Wednesday evening. Temperatures quickly fall after sunset. Overnight lows bottom out in the upper-20s and low-30s. Be sure to dress warm for those New Year’s Eve plans.

New Year’s Day & Beyond

The forecast is looking pretty good to start 2026.

We are dry on New Year’s Day under a sunny sky. Highs climb into the mid-60s, with lows in the upper-30s and low-40s.

Most of Friday is looking dry and mild. Temperatures top out in the upper-60s under a partly sunny sky. An isolated shower is possible, but rain chances remain low to end the work week. Overnight lows only bottom out in the mid-50s.

Our next weather system looks to impact us as we kick off the weekend.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are looking likely on Saturday. Highs top out in the low-70s under a partly sunny sky. Lows settle in the low-50s.

Extended Forecast

Behind this weather system, we are turning drier to end the weekend.

Highs on Sunday reach the mid-to-upper-60s under a mix of Sun and clouds. Overnight lows fall into the low-40s.

The weather pattern is looking dry and comfortable for early next week. Highs for Monday and Tuesday hover in the upper-60s to low-70s under some sunshine. Lows bottom out in the mid-40s.
