If you’re a true Miamian who waited until the very last minute to restock café Cubano, grab bubbly for the post-midnight toast, replace the croquetas you already polished off, or pick up snacks for your New Year’s Day hangout — trust us, we’ve all been there.

Before you jump in the car, take note: many grocery stores and supermarkets across Miami will be operating on reduced or modified hours on New Year’s Day, and a few will be closed entirely, so plan your shopping accordingly. And if the fridge is bare or the thought of cooking feels like too much after a long night out (make sure to check out this list of restaurants if you need plans on New Year’s Eve), you can always skip the grocery run altogether and check out some of Miami’s best new restaurants of 2025 instead.

Below, find every major grocery store and supermarket in Miami that will be open or closed on New Year’s Day. Hours vary by location, so always call ahead or check each store’s locator online to confirm. In-store pharmacies may operate on separate or reduced hours.
