PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Two days of tacos and music are coming to Pinellas Park during the free admission TacoFest 2026.

On Jan. 24 and 25, England Brothers Park, located at 5010 81st Ave. N, will host the food festival. This is the fifth annual festival celebrating tacos, the traditional Mexican dish.

“You don’t want to miss this flavorful fiesta. Bring your appetite, your thirst for a culinary adventure and your dancing shoes as we celebrate Tampa Bay’s taco-tastic love,” said event organizer Suzanne King.

“Get ready to witness a fierce culinary competition, indulge in endless tacos, and celebrate all things taco,” the organizers said in a statement.

Organizers highlighted that at the festival, you can expect “Taco Triumphs.” They tout that during the last event, “Tampa Bay devoured a staggering 25,000 tacos,” inviting people to join TacoFest 2026 with the goal of surpassing that number.

The taco chef competition, dubbed “Battle of the Best,” will host over 20 local chefs as they compete for the title of “Best Taco in Tampa Bay 2026.” The categories will include chicken, beef, pork, seafood and “other,” which will pack tortillas with “inventive creations.” For this portion of the event, local food bloggers and community influencers will join a judging panel to determine the winners for “Most Creative Taco” and “Most Craveable Taco.”

During the second day, organizers say, there will be a taco-eating showdown, noting that entry fees do apply for this part of the festival.
