Surveillance video captured the moments when a suspect ran towards a home in Lauderdale Lakes and fired multiple shots into it.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies on Dec. 10, received reports of a shooting that happened near the 4400 block of Northwest 43rd Court.
Once at the scene, deputies and crews with Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue learned that someone had fired multiple shots into a home that had people in it.
In the surveillance video, a white Mercedes was seen driving past the home several times and parked the car twice, a few doors away from the home.
The driver was then seen running toward the back of the home, while he was wearing all black and had a hoodie.
Deputies said the suspect fired over a dozen rounds into the home, got back into the Mercedes and left the scene.
No one was seriously injured in the shooting, deputies said.
An investigation into the shooting is now underway.
