JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two Jacksonville couples are among the dozens of Jaguars fans who made the trip across the pond to watch the team take on the Rams Sunday morning.
John and Sandra Hicks, and Raymond and Marsher Boyd, made their first trip abroad together as a family to cheer on the Jags in London.
“It is a blast. I’ve been looking forward to it all year long, and it is living up to the expectation,” John Hicks said.

“This is such an awesome experience being here with family and friends. New friends,” she said. “At my age, I will never forget.”

He said these trips are cool because of the people he meets.
“We get together. All of us have one thing in common, and that is the Jaguars. It is just exciting. You meet other individuals from around the country,” Raymond Boyd said. “We also meet folks from over here who are Jaguars fans. Once they see the emblem, they come to you or if you’re passing by, we would holler Duval.”

The Boyds and Hickses are part of a group that travels to at least one away game with the Jags every year.
The Boyds were in London last year when the Jaguars beat the Patriots and went to Las Vegas for a game.
But this time around, this family said they are grateful they can create this memory together.
“It is a blast. The people here are very friendly from the time that we have gotten to the airport, we met our own location person. His name is Jack, and he has been with us the whole time,” Marsher Boyd said.
Kickoff for the game is at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time.
