Pest control truck crashes into tree in Fort Lauderdale The driver of a pest control truck was airlifted to a hospital Friday morning after crashing the truck into a tree in Fort Lauderdale.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The driver of a pest control truck was airlifted to a hospital Friday morning after crashing the truck into a tree in Fort Lauderdale.
The crash was reported in the 6300 block of North Andrews Avenue.
Local 10’s Jolena Esperto was told at the scene that the Petri Pest Control employee was removed from the truck and airlifted to a local hospital. His or her condition has not yet been released.
Much of the roadway near the scene was shut down by Fort Lauderdale police as they investigated the cause of the collision.
No other details were immediately released.
