The runway at Southwest Florida International Airport has reopened after an Eastern Airways charter flight experienced an incident on Saturday.

It caused the plane to leave the runway and become disabled on a taxiway, according to a response from the Lee County Port Authority.

There was no fire, and no injuries have been reported. Passengers were assisted off the aircraft.

The runway at RSW was temporarily closed for safety inspections, which led to some flight delays.
