Key Biscayne Tennis Association’s Holiday Party and 45th Anniversary Celebration mixed in a little jingle with the mingle as the local nonprofit hosted the event for players, friends, staff and pros.

Since 1980, the KBTA has served the Miami-Dade community and provides a high-quality tennis facility for everyone, including adults, juniors, after-school programs, and summer and holiday programs. It also has provided scholarship opportunities for under-financed families and outreach programs for schools and summer camps in under-served areas of the county.

All of the Board of Directors’ work is voluntary. The KBTA pros also give their time and tennis expertise free of charge to many of these outreach programs.

Each year, more than 20,000 players play on the KBTA tennis courts, while hundreds of others use the facility for practice for major junior and professional events.

KBTA also becomes the default community tennis facility when the Crandon Park Tennis Center is closed or reduces its hours of play as it announced in December.
